 The TT events in Kiara proved successful last year and so we have decided to fix the dates to make it less ad hoc. More fun and friendly competition for riders who want to hang out and test their mettle in a friendly atmosphere set in the best single track environment in Kuala Lumpur. [ Updates HERE]
RACE#1. 10:30am Sunday 14 March1. Start at the pavillion at the cross roads.
2. Go up twin peaks and turn left to Shriners.
3. At Upper Carnival, go straight to enter Chunder Junction,
4. Exit road and enter 4K. Head towards the pond.
5. Cross two bridges at the pond and turn right to exit on road.
6. Take first right into 2K. Go straight and keep right to complete reverse 2K.
7. Do not go into Mission and Apollo.
8. Exit Pavillion at cross roads. |

Trailside Repair: Missing Cleat bolt |

 This is what happened to me 20 km into a ride with another 8 km more to go. I was unable to unclip from the pedal because the cleat with a missing bolt was rotating on the axis of the remaining bolt when i twist my ankle to unclip.
So what would Mc Gyver do in this instance? I could still pedal back without clipping in but that would kill the joy of the ride especially when the trail demands lots of clipping in for the climbs. This is what you do: |

 2009 was a great season for cycle races in Singapore, with the Cyclone Race Series hitting the target of 9 races including 2 national championships, covering an entire range of cycle races. This Dirtraction initiative that seeks to make racing accessible to all levels of riders through simple, no-frills bike races which emphasize on the racing element, will continue on for 2010. We are expanding the road cycling and mountain biking formats for this coming racing season.
