| dun think so... it will take hours to cut any deadfall log. but i guess it will be handy for emergency cases. this is when your McGuyver instincts come in |

| Depends on blade quality. If its good quality and can hold its sharpness, then you've definitely got a winner. The one I have is almost the same size too, have used it on fallen trees about 3-4 inches thick, no problems at all... Only other thing is whether or not the screw will be able to hold while you're sawing at something. Otherwise, it looks like it'll do just fine... :-) |

Godzilla is right .... I carry one similar to that in my backpack at all times. But they are only good for small branches - I carry it because it is light and easier to carry that my "pat-o-saw" or my parang so when riding around Kiara etc it is just convenient. The blade needs a bit os steel in it though otherwise those flimsy blades tend to flex too much and you will brake them.

tried this thing this morning, it works well. Much more better than i expected. What i would say i worth more than it's value. Had cut quite a number of deadfall.
Value: 5/5
Performance:4/5 |
