|
A dream come true for 39 riders.
Cooling highland weather, around 18 km of continuous downhill (500m altitude descend) through tea plantations
(earlier parts), river crossing, around 9.1km climbs (500m altitude ascend, end part), start-to-end around 47km.
Start time : 8.08am (at MNS chalets), End time : around 4.30pm (at SRK Pos Terisu)
Oldest rider : Uncle Robert from Ipoh, 65 y.o. on his HT Schwinn MOAB (the other Schwinn rider was me...hehe)
Contributions: 2 supermarket bikes as gifts to schools. Old clothings to Orang Asli families... gula-gula to orang asli kids (JoeAdnan's main stock). No wonder this ride was well blessed...
A thousand thanks to James (OIIIIO), LeeNya and the rest of the PCC gang for setting this awesome ride...
Here's some geeky GPS tracks from my GPS on this rides....I didn't bring my camera. I'm sure the other riders would post some soon!

Hi yikerk, James & LeeNya got everybody to be well prepared and alerted on preps, pain-levels, distances & time... very experienced...
Hi andrewawi, the CH cool weather made me dream on for rides at Whistler...yeah man!...dream on...
I noticed a lot of shots taken during the rides and the stops by a few riders, yup...and joe got some remotely-activated-flashwork shots done too... dramatic images?... I look forward to it too... |

hey Joe, what time u reached out to the main road. I saw u cycle out after the ride, we wish to give a lift, but our 4WD full already...hehe...one of our old friend offer "budget house" to stay in Brinchang. That's why we need to get out that day. Must get a good rest before drive back to png.

Got out to the main road at about 6.45pm. I saw that your 4wd was full to the max, so no problem. In any event, I was prepared to cycle out anyway. I was at one of the farms near the Equatorial the next morning, and I think I saw your car parked by the roadside. |

Most torturous part of the ride (for me) .... bike push up cemented climb and got report on walkietalkie (VHF unproduced model...long story...) from nikpesa & gang they already started to cook maggi mee....aduuhhh!!!
If ever the CH rangers were to have a MTB patrol unit, they should refer to joeadnan for suitable uniform attire...

hehe, I thought it will make you push faster when u hear the mee maggi...or at least the hot coffee 3 in 1(mental torture)..I also push my bike on that part.I was climbing alone that part, takut woo.., but I'm wondering whether the rider of the silver colour vodoo bakka can tackle all the climb.
