Ya mann~!! The colour orange is definately IN! Very nice, random set up you've got going.
Quick question, how's the LG1 compared to the SRS guide? Also, no bashguard? |

dh: thank you thank you... :-D its like a mini m3 don't you think?
em97y: the shop scale says 28.7lbs but i think +1lbs is the more realistic figure. oh well, as long as its sub-30lbs with strong sensible components i'm a happy man.. i've since changed the Tioga Spyder saddle to a Fizik Gobi after casing a dirt jump landing last week. so that's about 110g more!!
yish: security-wise they're both pretty sound, but the LG1 is wayyyy lighter simply because there's no bashring (over a pound i believe). There is the option to saw 2/3rds off a standard Supercharger and bolt it on. (which is the official way of doing it and endorsed by e13 btw). Right now i dont' see the need for the 2/3rds bash to be on, even though i have one. Gamuts are available here... you want one? :smt004 |

| Hehe...I've noticed you've become quite a product-pusher now. Thanks for the offer, but I'm quite set in the chain guide department. Interesting that you mentioned sawing off a third of the supercharger, I was just thinking about sawing a quarter off...but wasn't sure how smart of a move that would be. Are there specific guidelines that I should follow or things I should know before going ahead in slaughtering the supercharger? |

well for a web of plastic on rails the spyder is not too bad... but the gobi feels like an armchair in comparison!
for the supercharger, just cut it so there are at least 2 holes left to mount it to the guide.
as for the cost, i bought it used, so no idea how much it would be brand new. and no... don't put a 36van :smt009 unless you want a super-slack, near-unrideable headtube angle. 36float or talas lowered to 110mm would be ideal i guess - IF you insist on a 36. go with the 32 lah; light frame + light fork = super manouverable bike in the air.. |
