Hi all, I'm monkeysamurai and I've been suffering this affliction for about 4 years now. I've basically come to accept that it's here to stay and that I'm losing the light more and more everytime. But once you embrace it, it really does envelope you.. the night that is.

Now it's just an issue of getting my wife to accept that I'm a sufferer, that she needs to let me go (ride that is!).

I'm monkeysamurai, and I'm not in the dark anymore.

Well, i guess i can't hide nor hold back any longer. I need to come out of the closet!! I'm just as badly afflicted as most of you guys, except that probably MonkeySamurai and I have been sufferers for probably the longest time...

MonkeySamurai, remember the days when we would be hard pressed to get even 3-4 riders to ride on a Tues night? I remember back when guys like Cougar, John and Michael (and Jun too right?) were still actively riding, and we all rode together at night, and Michael was kicking our behinds every week with his full suspension downhill rig on the climb up Shriner's!!

Stan, remember I once brought coffee too?

Yea dude, you did! We were enjoying a cuppa thanks to you, on the top of Twin Peaks while watching fireworks on Merdeka eve. Dude, that sounds almost gay, thankfully we had others along as well! :P

And the following year you did the same again, except that you ended the ride with one of the guards at the bike wash park breaking his baton on you, as you're just too d@mned thick skinned!!

hey thanks for bringing that up again. It's taken me a few years to forget that incident. Now I have to start all over again.
